Game Maker Runner will boot PC games on PSP

The game plays very similar to Europa Universalis IV, except in Crusader Kings II you must create your own character and attempt to make your dynasty as powerful and successful as possible. You start the game anytime between 1066 and 1337 and play until 1453, although with different expansions this can be extended. This serves as a proof of concept showing that this portal can be turned into a real RPG! To see this battle system demo in action, you need to choose Cloud as your character, and there will be random encounters in the 'Chrono Trigger' area. Version 1.1 RELEASE. You can now create your own characters, house, dialogues and ANYTHING for this portal! So now at my 17 years old, I decided to do my own video game console using a Raspberry Pi, I was surprised how such a small board can be so powerful to be able to run games. Video games are cool but doing your own game console is even cooler because you learn how it works and you can customize it your way.

DIY game creation company YoYo Games has released a video showing a Game Maker created game running on PSP.

Its popular Game Maker software is the weapon of choice for many smaller indie developers, with dozens of games made using the program released every day.

Progress on the Game Maker Runner for PSP is clearly going well as the below video demonstrates, although it will be even better when background music is in place.

The game on show is Chad Chisholm’s Skydiver.

Once completed, the PSP Runner program will allow any Game Maker project to be played on a PSP, although it's not clear how they will be distributed.

Installing 'Mai's Dreamland for PSP'

To install and play this game on PSP, follow the instructions below.

1. Unzip the downloaded files.
2. Copy the unzipped 'rpg' folder to your PSP Memory Stick under the /PSP/COMMON/ folder.
3. Open PSP Internet Browser (Internet access is NOT required).
4. Open 'play.html' by typing the address in the address bar(eg. file:/psp/common/rpg/play.html).
5. ENJOY!

Addon Pack: If you have downloaded the addon pack, unzip it and copy the unzipped 'rpg_addon'folder to your PSP Memory Stick under the /PSP/COMMON/ folder (sitting side by side with the 'rpg' folder).

'Quick Start' Mode: Instead of opening 'play.html', you may choose to open 'play_quick_start.html'if you want quicker and direct access to the applications and mini games in this portal.This is especially useful if you want a direct access to our popular PSP Solitaire.Note that some features may NOT be available in this 'quick start' mode.
